This two-day course teaches students everything they need to know to effectively set-up and use Indefinite Delivery contracts. We will discuss when and how the three different types of Indefinite Delivery contracts should be used, how to set up to source selection process to identify the best value vendors and how to decide whether to make single vs. multiple awards. We will also discuss best practices for issuing task orders, including tips on how to write the task order work statement and leverage the benefits of competition. Finally, we will discuss key aspects of the task order administration process. Significant recent changes will be fully addressed.
