Administrative Careers at NIH
You can search for all open Administrative vacancies on USAJOBS
or on our Executive Jobs page. Are you retired from federal service? You might find this information on Employment Information for Federal Retirees helpful.
An Administrative Career with NIH can be the most rewarding Government job. NIH employees in Administrative functions such as Budget, Human Resources, Training, and Grants Management support the scientific mission of the NIH. You don’t have to be a scientist to contribute to improving the health of the nation.
The Administrative Fellows Program (AFP) provides the opportunity for the NIH to bring into its administrative pipeline new and excited employees. The program includes mentorship, an individual training plan, possible rotations, a camaraderie of current Fellows, an annual AFP Leadership Symposium, and lots of opportunities to make a difference at the NIH.
