NIH employees are often recognized by their peers with awards in the scientific community but we also have an active employee recognition program at NIH. Employees are honored at annual award ceremonies for their contributions to the NIH and the Institutes and Centers. They are also eligible for monetary recognition through a Special Act or Service Award or Performance bonuses.
